Parking
There is limited on-street parking opposite Brunswick House. It is unlimited during the winter. However, from 1st May to 30th September there is a 2 hour limit between 8am and 6pm. There is a short-stay pay and display car park just up the road on Brunswick Street, which has a 4 hour maximum parking time during the day. Alternatively, there are two long-stay car parks just a couple of minutes walk away: The Point, at the river end of the seafront; and the Quay, by the docks. Bus
There are regular buses from Teignmouth to Dawlish, Exeter, Newton Abbot and Torquay.
During the summer, the open top Hop 222 service is a fantastic way to explore the coast between Teignmouth and Dawlish Warren.
Throughout the year, the Number 22 route passes through Teignmouth to either Dawlish Warren or South Devon College in Paignton. And the Number 2 bus will get you to either Exeter or Newton Abbot.
Train
Teignmouth railway station just a seven minute walk from Brunswick House. It's on the mainline down to Cornwall and there are regular services to Newton Abbot, Exeter, Paignton, Exmouth and further afield.

Ferry
The Teignmouth to Shaldon passenger ferry is one of the oldest in the country and is the perfect way to get across the river to explore the quaint village of Shaldon where you can visit the zoo, explore theĀ botanical gardens or simply relax with a drink or bite to eat overlooking the estuary. The Teignmouth stop is on the back beach, just around the corner from Brunswick House. It's particularly poplar with those walking the South West Coast Path, particularly after the arduous Maidencombe stretch!
Air
Exeter airport is less than half an hour's drive from Brunswick House. There are car hire facilities at the airport, or you can get a bus into Exeter and then it's just 25 minutes on the train to Teignmouth. Flights from Exeter go to Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Norwich as well as Belfast, Dublin, France, Spain and the USA.
