Why can't I find you on booking sites?

Brunswick House does not use any online travel agent sites. I prefer not to pay commission when I have a very healthy trade via direct bookings. You can only book through this website or by calling me direct on 01626 774102.


Do you speak any other languages?

English is my mother tongue, however I am also fluent in French and my son is currently learning Spanish - although he is only at a basic level at the moment.


Do I need to pay a deposit to book a room?

A deposit of 10% of the total cost of your stay is required to secure your booking.


What payment do you accept?

We accept cash, cheques, BACS and card payments.
Accepted cards are: Visa Debit/Delta, Visa Credit, Maestro/Switch and Mastercard.


What is your cancellation policy?

A full refund on any payments made will be issued for cancellations made more than 7 days in advance.
For cancellations made less than 7 days in advance we charge 10% of the stay.
If a booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before arrival, you will be charged the full booking amount.

In the event of a no-show or booking reduction after the arrival date, you will be charged the full cost of the stay.
